🔥✍️ Razorbacks Making an Impact—State & National Recognition! ✍️🔥
Roy Jr. High is proud to celebrate our incredible students who were recognized in the Do the Write Thing Challenge at both the state and national levels! 🐗❤️
🌟 State Finalist:
👏 Harper Spencer
🇺🇸 National Runners-Up:
👏 Malachi Murrah
👏 Adele Noorda
🇺🇸 National Finalist (Ambassador for Peace):
👏 Andre Ramos
Out of students across the entire state and nation, these Razorbacks stood out with their powerful voices, courage, and impactful writing. This is an amazing accomplishment and a true reflection of who we are at Roy Jr. High!
As Utah’s National Finalist and Ambassador for Peace, Andre will represent our state this July in Washington, D.C.—joining other Ambassadors at the National Recognition Ceremony. He will meet with members of Utah’s Congressional delegation to discuss youth violence, attend a special reception hosted by the Ambassador to the United States for the State of Kuwait, and have his writing published in a book placed in the Library of Congress. 🇺🇸📚
A huge shoutout to their outstanding teachers for guiding and supporting these students every step of the way:
🙌 Dustin Flores
🙌 Maria Georgiou
We are so proud of you for representing Roy Jr. High at the highest levels and showing the power of student voice! Congratulations to all students who took the challenge to make a difference in addressing youth violence.
