Welcome back, Razorbacks!

At Roy Junior High, we are excited to kick off another great year focused on growth, learning, and student success. One of our key goals this year is raising literacy rates across the entire school, recognizing that strong reading and writing skills are essential for success in every subject.

This focus directly aligns with Weber School District’s Elevate 28 initiative, which emphasizes high-impact strategies to improve student outcomes by the year 2028. As part of Elevate 28, we are committed to building a strong foundation in literacy, using data to guide instruction, and ensuring that every student receives the support they need to thrive.

Our incredible teachers have been working hard this summer to prepare engaging lessons, align curriculum, and strengthen our interventions. We’re also building a strong culture of collaboration through our PLCs and schoolwide literacy team-because when we work together, we grow together.

We are shooting for the stars this year!

Let’s make this a year of purpose, progress, and pride.

Go Razorbacks!
