Roy Jr. High’s MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement) Club recently competed at District MESA Day, earning top placements and showcasing impressive engineering and problem-solving skills.
The team brought home multiple awards, including second place in both the Cup Stacking and Crypto competitions, as well as third place in the Sphero event. Each competition required students to think critically, collaborate effectively, and apply STEM concepts in creative ways.
In addition to their strong finishes, students also participated in a tower-building challenge, where their structure successfully withstood over 100 pounds of pressure—an impressive demonstration of engineering design and teamwork.
Roy Jr. High is proud of the dedication and accomplishments of its MESA students, who continue to represent the school with excellence in STEM-related activities. ❤️🖤
