Five Roy Jr. High students showcased their talent, creativity, and hard work at the FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) State Competition, earning top honors across multiple events.
Leading the group, Lukas Krall and Alania Rees captured 1st place in the Hospitality and Tourism event, securing their spot to represent Roy Jr. High at the national competition in Washington DC on our Nation's 250th Birthday. Their achievement highlights both their teamwork and in-depth understanding of the industry.
Several other students also earned impressive recognitions. Bri Mendez received a silver medal in Career Investigation, demonstrating strong research and presentation skills. Kathryn Culver also earned silver in Fashion Design, showcasing creativity and technical ability in her work. Kegan Poole rounded out the team’s success with a bronze medal in Focus on Children, reflecting dedication to understanding and supporting youth development.
Roy Jr. High is incredibly proud of these students and their accomplishments. Their success at the state level is a testament to their commitment, innovation, and willingness to go above and beyond.
